Mahfuz Alam made new Information Adviser

Mahfuj Alam has been appointed as the Adviser to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

A notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday confirmed the matter.

Earlier on Tuesday, Nahid Islam submitted his resignation letter to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the Jamuna state guesthouse.

He was responsible for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, as well as the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology, under the interim government.

The gazette notification also said that the chief adviser has taken responsibility of the Ministry Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology.
