BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has urged party leaders and activists to forge strong unity in order to uphold and reinforce the public’s trust in the party.
“Millions of people continue to place their faith in the BNP. We must not allow that trust to fade. It’s time for us to unite and protect the confidence people have in us,” he said on Tuesday.
Speaking virtually from London at a workshop organized by BNP leaders and supporters from Lalmonirhat, Kurigram, and Gaibandha, Tarique emphasized the importance of implementing the party’s 31-point recommendation. He warned that the hopes and efforts of party members over the past 15 years could be in vain without its execution.
He also paid tribute to those who lost their lives for BNP’s political ideals and called on party leaders and activists to engage with people from all walks of life—regardless of class, profession, religion, or political belief.
Tarique further urged party members to root out any disruptive elements within the organization, saying, “If there’s anyone causing division within our party, remove them. Only then can we reach our next goal.”
