
A new factory for producing international standard medical equipment is being set up in Ishwardi, Pabna. The factory, named ‘Megasan Medical Industries Bangladesh Limited Assembly Plant,’ is a joint venture between Turkey’s Megasan and Megasan Bangladesh. It will be located in the Arankola area of Ishwardi municipality.
The foundation stone for the factory was recently laid by Arif Silektin, Chairman of Megasan Turkey, who was the chief guest at the event. The ceremony was also attended by Engineer Nazmul Hasan, CEO of Megasan Medical Industries Bangladesh Limited, and other local leaders, including Habibur Rahman Habib, Advisor to the BNP Chairperson, and Abu Taleb Mandal, Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pabna District.
Arif Silektin expressed his excitement about the new venture, saying, “This factory will meet European production standards and focus on environmental sustainability. It will help improve the healthcare sector in Bangladesh and strengthen the long-lasting friendship between Turkey and Bangladesh.”
The factory is expected to play a significant role in producing high-quality medical products for the country’s healthcare system.
