Govt extends Hajj visa processing time till May 11

The government has announced a further extension of the Hajj visa processing period until May 11.

According to an official statement released today, the deadline for Hajj pilgrims to submit their applications for visa processing has been extended for an additional five days until May 11.

Initially, the deadline for visa application submission was set for April 29. However, due to delays in visa processing, the deadline was extended until May 7 during the first phase.

Since many of the 259 private Hajj agencies were unable to complete the visa processing within this extended period, the timeframe has been extended again in the second phase, as mentioned in the release.

The Hajj Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued a letter to all Hajj agencies, emphasizing that if the visa process is not completed within this extended period, the respective agency will be held responsible.
