Operation devil hunt: 3,924 arrested by friday afternoon

As part of the ongoing ‘Operation Devil Hunt,’ joint forces made 509 arrests across the country on the operation’s sixth day, according to the police headquarters.

This brings the total number of arrests to 3,924 by Friday afternoon, February 14th.

Additionally, 948 arrests were made during the same period, though these were outside the scope of the operation.

During the sixth day of operations, authorities also seized a variety of weapons, including a shooter gun, a barrel gun, and several local firearms.

Launched on Saturday night, the government initiated this nationwide security operation with the goal of reducing unrest and enhancing public safety.
