NBR extends tax return deadline for individuals to Feb 16, companies to March 16

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline for income tax return submissions for individual taxpayers until February 16, 2025. This applies to both online and offline filings, excluding companies.

Previously, the deadline for taxpayers (excluding companies) to submit their returns for the 2024-2025 fiscal year was January 31. However, following the extension, taxpayers now have until February 16 to file their returns.

Additionally, the NBR has granted companies an extra month to submit their tax returns, moving the deadline from February 15 to March 16, 2025.
